Flash Player plugin for iPhone mobile Safari

You can play videos (flv) in safari now. There is iMobileCinema plugin available which can help you play flash (flv format) videos in safari. I think this is something which we all have been waiting for. Follow below steps to integrate the plugin in your browser:

1. First you need to have 2.x ver of firmware.
2. Add source d.imobilecinema.com in Cydia.
3. Install iMobileCinema application from Multimedia section in Cydia.
4. It is advisable to restart your mobile after installation is complete.

Your mobile is ready for playing videos in safari now. You can test it by opening any video which is marked playable (marked with play sign) in youtube site. Thank you.

I guess this is now part of iPhone OS. You don’t need to do anything to run YouTube videos.

Flash will never come to iPhone or iPad.

Any idea why the imobileCinema source URL is not recognized by cydia (just tried with newly jailbroken iPhone 3G running firmware 3.1.3. I used spirit to break the phone).

I wouldn’t install iMobileCinema. It appears to be dying and caused me to lose the ability to place phone calls, plus it didn’t work. Better to wait and see if something else comes along.

BTW, Spirit is great. A 5 second download, and a button comes up Jailbreak? You click it and you’re done. I have 3.1.3 and new baseband.
