WordWeb dictionary is available in App store for free. Dictionary is collection of around than 2,85000 words, phrases and derived forms. Few highlights of this app

Steps to install USB drive on your iPhone
1. Open Cydia
2. Go to Manage => sources
3. Press Edit on top right corner and then press Add on left corner. A input box will appear.
4. Enter http://apt.dmytro.me and press Add Source
5. Cydia will now add entered source. After successful addition of the source, press Return to Cydia button.
6. Now tap on Done button on right corner.


7. Tap on listed source. This will show you USB Drive application and other applications from this source.

8. Install this application as you normally install any application from Cydia.
9. After successful installation of USB drive app, Launch USB Drive application by tapping the USB Drive icon on the main screen.
10. You’ll see three modes
Drive + iTunes:
In this mode USB Drive replaces Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) interface with Mass Storage interface and lets you use the iPhone as a USB Drive. At the same time you can perform iTunes synchronization, developers can use XCode debugger ,etc. In this mode USB Mass Storage will not work on Windows with iTunes or Apple USB Drivers installed.

Default:
This is the iPhone default mode. USB Drive doesn’t install daemon application nor modify any USB settings. Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) is active as well as iTunes synchronization and tethering over USB.

Drive Only:
This mode is to resolve compatibility issues with Windows and iTunes. In this mode USB Drive changes the iPhone’s USB product ID. This will prevent iTunes synchronization, but USB Mass Storage will work on Windows (and other operating systems). Switch to the Default or Drive + iTunes mode will restore iTunes sync.

11. Select the mode of your choice and click on Create drive

12. Enjoy your new USB drive.

iPhone users may get a choice now while surfing the internet. Opera has developed mini browser for iPhone. The browser is fast enough to impress anyone. The reason behind it’s performance is the proxy architecture. Whenever you request any URL using Opera mini, request will be send to Opera servers and then opera servers will download a page for you and compress the page up to 90%. After compression, page is transfered to iPhone in custom binary format. This binary format will be rendered by opera browser.

Advantage of Opera mini over Safari
1. Browser is fast as most of the processing is done by Opera servers.
2. Data is compressed up to 90%. This will reduce data usage bill.
3. Scrolling throw the page is smooth regardless the size of the page.
4. It can increase your battery backup little bit while browsing.

I hope that Apple will play a fare game in approving Opera Mini.

For the first time, you get a reason not to jail break iPhone 2G, 3G. Apple has approved iVideoCamera application (0.99$) for recording video on iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G.
iVideoCamera records 10 frames in a second having 320X426 resolution. video sharing is in build in the application. One can share recorded video easily
1. On popular websites like facebook, twitter, YouTube, Flicker Video, Vimeo
2. FTP video transfer
3. WiFi video transfer to a computer

iPhone OS 3.0 has provided lots of features that were missing in earlier version of iPhone OS. There is still a missing feature for deleting individuate call record. I have used weTool to perform this action in past. It seems that weTool is no longer available for iPhone OS 3 onward.
CallClear is a replacement for weTool up to some extent. It allows you to delete individual call record one by one from call history. CallClear is available on Cydia.

Photofunia is an online photo editing tool. It add special effects in your personal pictures. There are around 100 different templates present, which can be applied on your personal  pitctures. You can directly upload your pictures to photofunia site.

This feature is now available in iPhone as well. Go to App store and search for photofunia. Install it. It’s free .

Note that you need to have internet connection on your iPhone.

With OS 3.0, iPhone 3G users got MMS feature along with many awaited features. iPhone 2G users got all the features except MMS.
I don’t know the exact reason why Apple has not provided this to iPhone 2G users. There is no harware limitation for this feature in iPhone 2G.
There is app available for activating MMS in jail broken iPhone 2G. To activate MMS on jail broken iPhone, follow the instructions below.
1. Open Cydia and go to search tab.
2. Type ActivateMMS2G in search box and you’ll get ActivateMMS2G application from iSpazio.
3. Tap on install and confirm the installation.
4. After successful installation, Cydia will exit and reboot the device.
5. Go to Message application, you’ll notice camera icon.
6. Take some picture or use any existing picture from your galary. Send it to your friends.
7. Done!!!

Google latitude is new feature in google maps on the mobile devices. Application allows you to determine the location of your friends around you who have decided to share their location with you.

hClipboard is another copy paste application in jailbroken iPhones. To install this application, go to
1. Cydia installer (Make sure that you have 2.2 firmware)
2. Search for “hclipboard”
3. You’ll see it listed in the search result.
4. Install the application.

To enable hClipboard, Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > International > Enable hClipboard.
After enabling hClipboard, you’ll find a globe symbol in keyboard window. Tap on it and start playing with it. It stores text in two forms. One as clipboard and another in the form of template. You can store up to 10 clipboards and deleted the unwanted in iPhone’s native way of deleting a text. Though you don’t have any limitation in templates. You can store as many as you wants, this can be used in storing email, mobile number or user name for some sites which you use very frequently.

There is no doubt that in terms of functionality it is the most advance application present so far but I didn’t like the technique it used to select text. Its doesn’t meet iPhone standards. Clippy is another copy/paste application which uses better technique to select text.
